The Clinical Cognitive Neuroscience (CCN) laboratory studies the mechanisms of cognitive control and their disturbance in psychiatric illness. Much of our research focuses on frontal regions of the brain, including the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and anterior cingulate cortex.
We employ cognitive task paradigms together with a multimodal imaging approach including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electro- encepholography (EEG) to study healthy subjects and various clinical populations including first-episode and chronic schizophrenia.
