README _______ Compiling issues : This is a short internal notice describing the important points to take into account concerning the compiling process of nisica . nisica was compiled an SGI Origin 2000, at the CSBMB of Princeton University. nisica compiled successfully in -o32 and -n32 mode, Provided that the BLAS library that comes along with IRIX 4.5 is available. The user will find under CLAPACK directory the necessary additional CLAPAPCK libraries required for succesful compilation. The Makefile has been structured in such a way that it can show flexibility concerning the different platforms on which nisica may be compiled in the future. How to run nisica: Despite the numerous flags that appear when typing nisica -h, one can see that nisica can run with minimum 3 flags: nisica -i ref_try.txt -f flist_004 -p 10 The example above, describes nisica applied to the filelist flist_004, extracts 10 Components from the PCA step, and then compares the CTR to the time reference function written in ref_try.txt Note that there is an example of ref_try.txt in the test directory. More files will be added to this directory if needed. Again the number of lines in the time reference directory has to be equal to the the number of lines listed in the filelist.
